Ingredients
Ingredients
- 5 Limes, washed and cut into quarters
- 4 Cups Cold Water
- 1 Can Condensed Milk (dairy-free option: coconut condensed milk)
- 3-4 Cups Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the Limes: Chop the 5 washed limes into quarters and place them in a blender with 4 cups of cold water.
- Initial Blend: Blend on high for about 40 seconds, making sure not to over-blend to avoid bitterness.
- Strain the Mixture: Pour the blended liquid through a strainer into a bowl or jar, discarding the leftover lime solids.
- Clean Blender and Combine: Rinse your blender thoroughly. Pour the strained lime juice back into the clean blender, add the ice cubes (3-4 cups), and the can of condensed milk.
- Final Blend and Serve: Blend the mixture for another 30-40 seconds until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
- Storage: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Notes
- Use coconut condensed milk for a creamy dairy-free alternative.
- Do not over-blend the limes initially to keep bitterness at bay.
- Best served chilled with plenty of ice.
