Ingredients
Base
- 2 servings collagen peptides
- 3/4 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 3/4 cup ice
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp maca powder
- Pinch cinnamon
Cream
- 1/4 cup canned organic unsweetened coconut cream, plus more for decorating the glass
Instructions
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients, measuring out the frozen peaches, banana, almond milk, ice, collagen peptides, maca powder, coconut cream, and cinnamon. If needed, slice the banana before freezing for easier blending.
- Blend Smoothie: Add the frozen peaches, ice, frozen banana, almond milk, collagen peptides, maca powder, 1/4 cup coconut cream, and a pinch of cinnamon to your blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Decorate Glass (Optional): For a swirled ‘cream’ effect, use a spoon to smear a little extra coconut cream in small circles around the inside of your serving glass before pouring in the smoothie.
- Serve: Pour the blended smoothie into the prepared glass. Add a sprinkle of extra cinnamon on top, if desired, and enjoy immediately while cold and creamy.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, use a fully ripe banana or add a touch of maple syrup or honey (if not strictly vegan).
- Feel free to swap almond milk for any other plant-based milk you prefer.
- Unflavored or vanilla protein powder can be used instead of collagen peptides for a vegetarian version.
- Decorating the glass with coconut cream is optional, but makes for a beautiful presentation.
- Maca powder adds a malty flavor and extra nutrients but can be omitted if unavailable.
