Ingredients
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 2–3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Bread
- 1 loaf Italian or French bread (12 oz), Rustic Italian Style Artisan Bread recommended
Instructions
- Slice the Bread: Cut the loaf into approximately ½ inch thick slices to ensure even cooking and a perfect crispy texture.
- Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the softened butter, minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh parsley until well mixed.
- Spread Mixture on Bread: Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each bread slice, making sure every piece has a generous layer for maximum flavor.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the garlic bread evenly.
- Air Fry the Bread: Place the prepared bread slices in the air fryer basket. For easier cleanup and to prevent sticking, line the basket with aluminum foil or an air fryer liner. Cook for 5 minutes until the edges are crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove the garlic bread from the air fryer and serve immediately as a flavorful side dish.
Notes
- Using softened butter helps the garlic and herbs blend better for an even spread.
- If you want extra crispiness, you can broil the garlic bread for 1-2 minutes after air frying, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you want a subtle spicy kick.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and reheated in the air fryer for best texture.
