Ingredients
Salmon
- 2 salmon fillets
Marinade
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (plus oil spray for air fryer basket)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Make the marinade: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, honey, soy sauce, finely chopped garlic cloves, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
- Marinate the salmon: Brush the salmon fillets all over with the marinade. For enhanced flavor, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes if you have time.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) and allow it to preheat.
- Prepare the air fryer basket: Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the salmon fillets inside, ensuring there is space between each piece for even cooking.
- Cook the salmon: Air fry the fillets at 370°F for 5 minutes. Then brush the salmon with additional marinade and continue cooking for another 3 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve: Serve the honey garlic salmon immediately to enjoy maximum juiciness. Garnish optionally with lemon slices and chopped fresh herbs for added brightness and flavor.
