Ingredients
Peaches
- 4 fresh yellow peaches
Topping
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare Peaches: Rinse fresh peaches thoroughly, then pat them dry with paper towels. Slice each peach in half and carefully remove the pits from the center.
- Brush with Coconut Oil: Apply coconut oil evenly on both sides of each peach half. This will help them caramelize and prevent sticking.
- Initial Air Frying: Arrange the peach halves cut side down in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5 to 6 minutes until they start to soften and caramelize.
- Flip Peaches: Turn the peaches cut side up and continue air frying for an additional 5 minutes to soften the flesh evenly.
- Prepare Cinnamon Butter Mixture: While peaches cook, mix the brown sugar, softened butter, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until well combined.
- Add Topping and Final Air Fry: Spoon the cinnamon butter mixture into the center of each peach half. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes at 350°F until the butter melts and the topping becomes caramelized.
- Serve: Remove peaches from the air fryer and serve warm or hot for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best results to avoid them becoming too mushy.
- You can substitute coconut oil with melted unsalted butter if preferred.
- Adjust brown sugar quantity to taste or use a sugar substitute for a lower sugar version.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an indulgent dessert.
