Instructions
- Drain Fruits: Add the pineapple tidbits (or chunks), mandarin oranges, and maraschino cherries to a strainer to let all the liquid run through. Once the fruit is drained, transfer it to a large bowl along with the mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, and sour cream.
- Mix Ingredients Gently: Stir everything together gently to avoid breaking the delicate mandarin oranges and to ensure even distribution of the mini marshmallows, coconut, and sour cream.
- Fold in Whipped Topping: Carefully fold in the Cool Whip whipped topping, mixing gently until the salad is combined and creamy.
- Chill: Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for one hour to allow the flavors to meld and the salad to chill thoroughly.
