Ingredients
Ranch Dressing Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (5% fat)
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar (white or apple cider)
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried chives (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1-2 tbsp water (to thin, as needed)
Instructions
- Add Ingredients: Place the Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice (or vinegar), Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, dried chives, dried parsley, dried dill, salt, and black pepper into a blender or food processor.
- Blend: Blend the mixture on high speed until the dressing is smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water as needed to reach your desired consistency, blending again briefly.
- Store and Serve: Transfer the dressing to a jar or airtight container. Refrigerate until ready to use. Enjoy as a salad dressing, dip, or condiment.
Notes
- Use Greek yogurt with 5% fat for best creaminess; lower fat yogurts will yield a thinner dressing.
- Adjust water quantity to achieve preferred thickness.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Optional dried chives add a subtle oniony flavor but can be omitted if unavailable.
- This dressing is a healthier, protein-rich alternative to traditional ranch dressing.
