Ingredients
Carrots:
- 2 lbs Carrots, washed and peeled
Brown Sugar Glaze:
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Butter
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 ½ cup Water
Instructions
- Slice the carrots: Cut the carrots into 1/2″ thick slices and place them in a large skillet.
- Cook the carrots: Add water to the skillet, cover, and simmer over medium-high heat until the carrots are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Prepare the glaze: Drain excess water, then add brown sugar, butter, and salt to the skillet. Stir to coat the carrots and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until a thick glaze forms.
- Serve: Serve the glazed carrots warm and enjoy!
