Chicken Alfredo Monkey Bread is a savory and indulgent pull-apart bread featuring soft pizza dough balls layered with shredded rotisserie chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Perfect for a delicious appetizer or comforting meal, this flavorful dish is baked in a bundt pan until golden and gooey.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

For the Dough and Seasoning

  • 2 tubes (13.8 ounces each) pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Cheese and Chicken

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated, divided
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded, divided
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a large bundt pan thoroughly with cooking spray to prevent sticking, and set aside.
  2. Prepare dough balls: Cut each tube of pizza dough into ½-inch pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball and place them into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Season dough: Drizzle olive oil over the dough balls, then sprinkle the Italian seasoning, minced garlic, ½ cup of shredded mozzarella, and ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top. Use your hands to gently toss and coat all the dough balls evenly with the oil, cheese, and seasoning.
  4. Layer ingredients in bundt pan: Start by sprinkling ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan at the bottom of the prepared bundt pan. Add half of the dough balls next, then top with 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken and ½ cup Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle another ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan cheese on top. Add the remaining dough balls, followed by the remaining shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce. Finish by sprinkling the last ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake: Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and carefully invert the bundt pan onto a large serving plate so the monkey bread comes out easily. Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor, but you can use cooked shredded chicken breast as a substitute.
  • Make sure to coat the bundt pan well with cooking spray to avoid sticking issues when flipping the bread.
  • Serve this pull-apart bread as an appetizer or alongside a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and reheated in the oven until warmed through.
