Ingredients
Chicken Tenders and Coating
- 1 1/4 pounds chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup panko (or gluten-free panko)
- 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 egg
Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon sriracha
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400° F (205° C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. If using foil, lightly spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Coating Stations: Crack the egg into one shallow bowl or pie plate, add a splash of water, and whisk until combined. In a separate shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the everything bagel seasoning.
- Coat Chicken Tenders: Dip several chicken tenders into the egg wash, ensuring they are fully coated. Using a fork, transfer them to the panko and seasoning mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Place the coated tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all chicken tenders are coated.
- Bake: Bake the chicken tenders in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on their size. They are done when the internal temperature reaches 165° F (74° C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
- Make Dipping Sauce: While the chicken bakes, whisk together Dijon mustard, maple syrup, sriracha, and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve: Serve the crispy everything bagel chicken tenders hot with the prepared dipping sauce on the side.

- For a gluten-free option, substitute regular panko with gluten-free panko breadcrumbs.
- Adjust sriracha quantity in the dipping sauce according to your preferred spice level.
