Pasta:
- 8 ounces pasta
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes

- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1⁄2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add olive oil and onion: Add olive oil to the skillet, then add chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Sauté garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté briefly.
- Add tomatoes and seasonings: Pour in diced tomatoes, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add broth and pasta: Pour in vegetable broth and add pasta. Simmer until pasta is al dente.
- Stir in cream: Stir in heavy cream and simmer to thicken.
- Finish the dish: Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan until melted. Adjust seasoning and garnish with basil.
