- 2 ounces Vanilla Vodka
- 1 ounce Kahlua
- 1 ounce Espresso, cooled
- ½ ounce Peppermint Schnapps

- 2 Candy Canes, crushed

Instructions
- Rim the glass. Rim the edge of a cocktail glass by first coating it with honey or simple syrup, then dip the rim into crushed candy canes to create a festive peppermint crust.
- Brew the espresso. Prepare a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or alternatively purchase a fresh shot from a coffee shop. Allow it to cool to room temperature before use.
- Shake the cocktail. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the cooled espresso, vanilla vodka, Kahlua, and peppermint schnapps. Shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled and a light foam forms on top.
- Strain and serve. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass with the peppermint rim. Optionally, garnish with a dusting of espresso powder and a few coffee beans. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.

- Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor and crema.
- Crushed candy canes add a sweet, minty crunch to the glass rim.
- Adjust peppermint schnapps quantity to taste for more or less mint flavor.
- For a dairy version, a splash of cream can be added, but the original is dairy-free.
