This Radish Tzatziki is a fresh and vibrant twist on the traditional Greek dip, combining creamy Greek yogurt with crunchy radishes, toasted walnuts, and fresh dill. Perfect as a flavorful dip or spread, it brings a delightful crunch and tangy zest to any appetizer or snack.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (16 ounces) Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) radishes, thinly sliced or grated
  • 1/3 cup (2 1/2 ounces) toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt, thinly sliced or grated radishes, toasted and roughly chopped walnuts, chopped fresh dill, olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Serve or Store: Serve the radish tzatziki immediately as a dip with cut vegetables or pita bread, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to allow the flavors to meld further.

Notes

  • For best texture, slice or grate radishes finely to blend well with the creamy yogurt.
  • To toast walnuts, heat them in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant and lightly browned, about 3–5 minutes.
  • This dip pairs wonderfully with pita, fresh veggies, grilled meats, or as a spread on sandwiches.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent absorption of refrigerator odors.
  • You can adjust lemon juice and salt to taste based on preference.
