Water Section
- 4 – 5 cups water
Toast & Toppings Section
- 2 pieces of toast
- 1/2 avocado, mashed
- Flaked sea salt, to taste

Instructions
- Boil Water: Add 4 to 5 cups of water to a small saucepan and heat on high until it comes to a rolling boil.
- Add Eggs: Using a spoon, gently lower each egg into the boiling water. Then reduce the heat to medium-high to maintain a gentle boil.
- Cook Eggs: Set a timer for 6 minutes and 30 seconds to achieve the perfect soft boiled consistency.
- Stop Cooking: When the timer goes off, drain the hot water from the pot and immediately fill it with cold water to halt the cooking process.
- Cool and Peel: Let the eggs sit in the cold water for 5 minutes to cool, then carefully peel off the shells.
- Prepare and Serve: Spread the mashed avocado onto the toast slices, place the soft boiled eggs on top, slice the eggs in half, and sprinkle with flaked sea salt and everything but the bagel seasoning before serving.
Notes
- Use a spoon to gently lower eggs into boiling water to avoid cracking.
- Cooling eggs quickly in cold water stops residual cooking and makes peeling easier.
- Adjust cooking time slightly for firmer or runnier yolks.
- Everything but the bagel seasoning adds a savory, garlicky flavor but is optional.
- Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
