Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 lb Frozen Green Beans
- ¼ teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper (or to taste)
- ⅛ teaspoon Chili Pepper Flakes
- ½ teaspoon Dried Onions
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 fl. oz. Olive Oil
Instructions
- Prepare the beans: Place the frozen green beans in a large mixing bowl. This large bowl helps you mix the seasonings evenly over the beans.
- Season the beans: Add salt, black pepper, chili flakes, dried onions, garlic powder, and olive oil onto the frozen beans. Mix thoroughly to coat all the beans evenly with the spices and oil.
- Air fry the beans: Arrange the seasoned green beans in a single, not too thick layer inside the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 12 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway if desired for even cooking.
- Serve: Once crisp and cooked through, remove the green beans from the air fryer and serve immediately as a tasty, healthy side dish.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
- You can adjust chili flakes according to your preferred spice level.
- Fresh green beans can be used but will require less cooking time.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon or grated Parmesan for added flavor.
