Ingredients
Potatoes
- 4 cups potatoes (about 2 lbs), cut into 1-inch cubes
Seasonings and Oil
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Potatoes: Cut the potatoes into approximately 1-inch wide cubes. Place them in a large mixing bowl to get ready for seasoning.
- Season Potatoes: Add the extra virgin olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the potatoes. Stir thoroughly until all potato cubes are evenly coated with the mixture.
- Arrange in Air Fryer: Transfer the coated potatoes to the air fryer basket. Arrange them in a single layer as much as possible to ensure even cooking. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to cook the potatoes in batches.
- Air Fry Potatoes: Set the air fryer temperature to 375°F (190°C) and cook the potatoes for 30 minutes. Halfway through cooking, give the basket a shake or stir the potatoes to promote even crisping.
- Serve: Once golden brown and crispy, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately as a delicious side dish.
Notes
- For best results, use similar-sized potato cubes to ensure even cooking.
- You can adjust garlic powder and Parmesan cheese quantities to suit your taste preference.
- If you like extra crispiness, cook for a few additional minutes, checking regularly to prevent burning.
- Using red skin potatoes adds extra flavor and texture, but you can substitute with Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes.
- Shaking the basket halfway through air frying helps the potatoes crisp evenly on all sides.
