Ingredients
Big Mac Sauce Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (low fat if desired)
- 2 tablespoons relish
- 1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, relish, mustard, apple cider vinegar, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Whisk all the ingredients thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
- Chill the Sauce: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the sauce to an airtight container. Place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld and intensify.
- Serve: Before serving, give the sauce a good shake or stir to reincorporate any settled ingredients. Use it as a burger sauce, dip, or spread as desired.
Notes
- For a healthier version, use low-fat mayonnaise.
- The sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- The flavors improve the longer the sauce sits, so preparing it in advance is recommended.
- Adjust the BBQ sauce quantity to taste if a smokier flavor is preferred.
- This sauce can be used not just on burgers but also as a flavorful dip for fries or veggies.
