Instructions
- Slice Tomatoes and Mozzarella: Slice the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into 1/4 inch thick slices to ensure even layering and balanced flavors.
- Prepare Basil: To chiffonade the basil, stack five or six basil leaves, roll them tightly, then slice them into thin strips, creating delicate ribbons of basil.
- Arrange Salad: On a serving platter, arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternating. Tuck whole fresh basil leaves between some slices and sprinkle the basil strips on top for extra aroma and flavor.
