Ingredients

Chocolate Layer

  • ¾ cup chunky peanut butter
  • 12 ounces salted peanuts, chopped

Cherry Marshmallow Layer

  • 10.5 ounces miniature marshmallows (1 package)
  • 16 ounces cherry frosting (1 package)

Instructions

  1. Melt and Combine Chocolate and Peanut Butter: Melt the milk chocolate chips and chunky peanut butter together on low power in the microwave, stirring frequently until smooth. Stir in the chopped salted peanuts thoroughly.
  2. Prepare Base Layer: Spread half of the chocolate-peanut mixture evenly into a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill until the chocolate layer is firm and set.
  3. Melt Marshmallows and Add Frosting: In the microwave, melt the miniature marshmallows on very low power, stirring every 20 seconds to prevent burning until smooth and fully melted. Stir in the cherry frosting until fully combined.
  4. Apply Cherry Marshmallow Layer: Carefully spread the cherry marshmallow mixture evenly over the chilled chocolate base layer, taking care not to disturb the bottom layer. Return the pan to the refrigerator to cool and set.
  5. Add Final Chocolate Layer: Melt the remaining chocolate and peanut butter mixture if it has set, by microwaving in short intervals and stirring well. Spread this final chocolate layer evenly on top of the cherry marshmallow layer, covering all edges.
